Are You Remodeling Your Master Bathroom?

Elizabeth Mendoza

Have you been wanting to change things around in your bedroom for quite some time? It might be that you have moved into a previously owned house. In that case, maybe you knew from the very beginning that you would remodel your master bathroom.

Do you already have a plan for your bathroom remodel job? If not, from selecting bathroom tile to choosing the countertops and cabinetry, here are some ideas that might help you.

Start With The Tile - Don't you think that tile is perfect for the bathroom floor? Maybe, at the present time, there is a laminate product on your bathroom floor. If that's the case, maybe it isn't in very good condition. Consider replacing it with beautiful tile. There are so many selections that you might have trouble choosing the one you want. Do you want to establish a contemporary look in your master bathroom? If that's the case, think of choosing a black and white tile pattern.

Maybe you want a traditional, elegant look in your master bathroom. If that's the case, think of choosing a lovely pattern that looks like clouds in the sky. For a dramatic look, go with jewel tones for the color of the tile.

No matter the style of tile you select, you'll find that it will be very easy to maintain and that you'll have it for many years. The bonus is that tile comes in many price ranges, so you'll be able to select one that matches your budget.

Countertops And Cabinets - Once you have selected the bathroom tile, it will be a cinch to choose the cabinetry and the countertops.

For instance, if you went with black and white for your tile, then choosing either black or white tile for your countertops would be a great look. If you selected a marble looking tile, choose the predominant color of the floor tile and use that color in your countertops. Maybe you went with a jewel tone for the floor tile. then choose a complementary color, even a different one, for the tile on your countertops.

As you select your cabinets, select styles, and colors that will complement the floor tile and the countertop tile. For example, if you went with black and white for the floors, choose white cabinets and select black as the color of the knobs. If you went with jewel tones, think of selecting a quieter color for the cabinets, but choose a jewel tone for the knobs.
